“Sound is the ‘memory sense’. I love that strange evanescent sensation when we try desperatey to grasp a lost moment, invoked by a song or melody from our distant past. But it always seems elusive the details refusing to take shape completely, so we concentrate and it all comes back. Each of these tracks represents a moment in time that when, without warning, I suddenly hear them seem to unpack into whole periods of my life: people, places, conversations, connections and threads to other parts of a puzzle which is I guess a life. I could probably write a whole chapter on every track, but I’ll spare you that”
